Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic massage is a simple method with good results for swelling in the arms and legs or symptoms of fatigue. Increased swelling often occurs during hormonal changes, primarily affecting women.
Lymphatic massage stimulates the lymphatic system to efficiently remove excess fluids and waste products from the body. Lymphatic massage involves gentle strokes, deep breathing, and light pressure in the direction of lymph flow, sometimes with slightly deeper techniques to release blockages and fibrosis. Therefore, the treatment combines gentle strokes in the direction of lymph flow, muscle massage, breathing, and pressure. Rubber cups are also used. Information about self-treatment and dietary recommendations for better results is provided.
This is a very calming treatment since the lymphatic system functions best when the body is relaxed! The lymphatic system is stimulated and works better without increasing blood circulation.
The treatment is suitable for EVERYONE, but especially for individuals experiencing minor swelling, pain, numbness, or symptoms of fatigue. Clients often feel "lighter in their bodies" after the massage.
Rubber cups are also used to release connective tissue that has formed in old scars, such as scars from previous injuries, surgeries, and vaccinations.
